Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a Site Supervisor - Gen Gas to oversee our standalone Air Separation plant in Morris, IL. You will work with the Area Manager and report to the Site Manager, ensuring safe, reliable operation of critical production facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in industry with complex process operations, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to plan safe operations. Residence near Morris is preferred for after-hours response.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industry, preferably with Air Separation facilities or complex process operation and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Self-starter capable of planning activities for safe and reliable operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment at the facility to ensure continuous production of oxygen and nitrogen for pipeline customers.
• Participate in the Basic Safety Process and ensure the site’s overall safety performance.
• Work with customers on technical and supply matters, building strong relationships.
• Provide hands-on support for mechanical repairs, instrument calibrations, and electrical troubleshooting as needed.
• Investigate equipment failures, determine root causes, and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Follow Operating Procedures and Global Safety Standards.
