Job summary

Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is seeking an Engineer Lead with Generative AI experience to guide a remote, autonomous agile team within Technology Solutions and Platforms. The role focuses on designing and delivering AI-enabled features, expanding Copilot usage, and leading enterprise-grade AI initiatives across LSAC products and tooling.

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in full stack software engineering.
B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-305) preferred.
Azure AI certifications – AI-102 or Microsoft certified, Azure OpenAI certification or equivalent demonstrated proficiency preferred.
Experience with Gen‑AI adoption and coaching across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with partners to design, configure, and promote applications.
Ensure reliability and architectural standards across modules.
Lead Gen‑AI initiatives using Azure OpenAI Service and OpenAI APIs.
Own GitHub Copilot practices, prompting standards, and safe usage.
Design enablement programs to drive AI maturity across teams.
Coach engineers on AI in coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Architect and implement Gen‑AI features with LLMs, RAG, and AI tooling integrations.
Establish responsible AI practices, governance, and compliance.
