I Course Preparation – Maintain plan book

II Instruction

• Plan instruction based on the GED guides for Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, or Social Studies
• Include CCRS standards in planning
• Use the Aztec Learning software as applicable

III Class Management

• Maintain and submit accurate attendance (calculate hours of attendance)
• Refer students to a counselor for problematic attendance or other concerns
• Test and monitor student learning
• Provide end-of-term recommendations
• Complete end-of-semester Student Achievement Forms

IV Professional Development

• Participate in staff development and evaluation planning
• Provide assistance with program development (I.E., resource development and course plan)

The position varies from one evening to three evenings. Classes are 1.5 hours in length. GED prep courses are offered for 12 weeks each semester.
