Job summary

The County College of Morris Foundation is seeking a GED Instructor to provide high-quality instruction in English, Social Studies, Math, and Science to students preparing for the GED test. The position involves contributing to curriculum development and assessing students' needs while helping them gain the necessary skills and confidence to succeed.

An ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree and NJ Teaching Certification, along with experience in teaching non-traditional adults. Flexible class schedules may include day, evening, or weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Prior teaching experience as a High School Teacher is necessary.
• 3+ years of classroom teaching experience with non-traditional adult students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction to GED students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and deliver lessons in RLA, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, or Social Studies.
• Assess students’ needs and create individualized and group learning plans.
