Magna International Limited in Troy, Michigan, is seeking a Gearbox and Mechatronics Engineering Student for a part-time co-op. You will assist the gearbox sub-system team with CAD drawings, BOMs, calculations, and design reviews while learning industrial design methodologies in a collaborative environment.

The role focuses on requirements alignment, virtual verification, and CAE-related analyses to support development of electrified powertrain components.

Competenze

• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
• Enrolled in an accredited engineering program.
• Understand basics of engineering theory.

Mansioni

• Support Mechanical System Engineers with product/component design development (calculations, drawing development, CAD, EBOM, DFMEAs, Change Management).
• Support requirements writing/editing design requirements and interface alignment.
• Assist with BOM management and prototype build alignment.
• Help create and revise mechanical design processes.
• Support virtual validation plans and CAE vs test correlation activities.
