Job summary

TEAM Industries in Minnesota is seeking a shift-based role to support production by sharpening and tracking gear tooling, and maintaining tooling inventory. The job requires operating and programing machines in the sharpening room and coordinating with supervisors to ensure proper tooling requirements are met.

Qualifications

Detail and accuracy oriented.
Ability to acquire Mag Particle certification.
On the job training is provided.

Responsibilities

Supports production by sharpening and tracking gear tooling.
Replenishes production floor with approved tooling maintained by the sharpening room.
Tracks and maintains gear tooling inventory as needed.
Coordinates with department supervisors to follow tooling tracking procedures.
Operates and programs machines in the sharpening room.
Inspects wear of hobs, broach bars and cutters prior to sharpening.
Coordinates packaging and shipment for tooling reconditioning.
Works with engineering on new tools, testing, and changes.
Monitors and reorders sharpening room tooling and wheels.
Performs duties of Tool Crib Attendants as needed.
Supports TEAM Industries Quality Management system and objectives.
Promotes a positive atmosphere and welfare of TEAM employees.
Will perform other duties as requested.
