Qualifications

• 2+ years of gear hob grinding experience.
• Experience operating manual and/or CNC grinding equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Operating from our 35,000-square-foot facility in Novi, Michigan, we maintain one of the industry's largest inventories of gear cutting tools while providing precision sharpening services to customers across a wide range of industries.

We are seeking an experienced Gear Hob Grinding Technician to join our sharpening department. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work and has experience sharpening gear hobs while maintaining close tolerances.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will sharpen and restore precision gear cutting tools while maintaining strict quality standards.

Equipment includes:

• Star PTG CNC Gear Hob Sharpener
• Koepfer Gear Hob Sharpening Equipment
• Okamoto Rotary Grinder.
• Boyar-Schultz Rotary Grinders

Daily responsibilities include:

• Setting up and operating CNC and manual grinding equipment
