City Electric Supply is seeking a Gear Quotation Specialist to partner with customers and branch locations in Springfield to gather information and craft accurate pricing for project packages. This on-site role emphasizes customer service and technical precision.

You will prepare quotes, interact with suppliers, and strive to win project awards while delivering value through technical expertise and proactive relationship management.

Qualifications

• Experience with Eaton, Siemens, and GE gear is required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in gear quotation is required.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Technical qualifications and strong industry knowledge are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ambitious and self motivated.
• Desire to grow within the organization.
• Customer service focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting information from vendors and agents to create complete and competitive job package quotes.
• Prepare and manage sales quotes for customers and branch locations.
• Work directly with suppliers and customers to secure project awards.
• Provide value added service and technical expertise to customers.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
