The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a blend of mechanical knowledge, hands-on skills, and attention to detail.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gear Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, hands-on skills, and attention to detail.
Work with supervisor, programmer & support teams to resolve problems, inspect own work for quality, and document accordingly. May operate multiple machines and rotate between departments. Enter data into ERP system and support continuous improvement activities. Load/unload parts up to 25 lbs. Machines used include Fellows, Barber, Coleman, Pfauter, Gleason, and S&T.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years of related machining experience and knowledge of machining principles and methods.
Moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for entire shift, and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity.
