Hydromat Machinist - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 440-25-01242

Salary Range: $25.00 - $32.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits

2nd Shift - 10 Hour Days Monday to Thursday.

Cleveland, Ohio area Manufacturing Firm seeks an experienced Hydromat Machinist who can set up and operate a Hydromat Rotary Transfer Precision Machine.

REQUIREMENTS:
• High School, GED, Vocational School, Trade School, Technical School, Machinist Training - Diploma / Certification and or Higher Level of Education with a minimum of (1) years of hands-on experience setting up and operating a Hydromat Machine.
• Candidates must be able to read and understand blueprints, hand-sketches, verbal and written work instructions.
• Candidates must be able to perform basic math calculations such as decimal/fraction conversions and reading measuring tools.
• Candidates must be able to use a variety of gauges from calipers, micrometers, thread gages, depth micrometers, surface plate with height gage, and other equipment.
• Candidate is responsible for downloading programs from the network server to the machine and makes program edits as required. Pre-sets tooling, loads tooling into tool changer, adjusts offsets, installs fixtures and sets reference points for programs.
• Candidate must be able to set-up, make adjustments and operate Hydromat machines to mill, drill, ream, and tap.
• Candidates will inspect work in progress and measure finished parts to meet specifications utilizing various measuring tools and devices.
• Candidates must have solid verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
