Hydromat Machinist - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 25-01242

Salary Range: $25.00 - $32.00/HR

Position Type: Permanent with Benefits

Shift: 2nd Shift - 10 Hour Days, Monday to Thursday

Company Overview

Cleveland, Ohio area manufacturing firm seeks an experienced Hydromat Machinist capable of setting up and operating a Hydromat Rotary Transfer Precision Machine.

Requirements
  1. High School diploma, GED, Vocational/Trade/Technical School certification, or higher education, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience setting up and operating a Hydromat machine.
  2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, hand sketches, and work instructions (verbal and written).
  3. Proficiency in basic math, including decimal/fraction conversions and reading measuring tools.
  4. Experience with gauges such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, depth micrometers, surface plates with height gauges, and other measurement equipment.
  5. Responsibility for downloading and editing programs from the network server, pre-setting tooling, loading tooling into the tool changer, adjusting offsets, installing fixtures, and setting reference points for programs.
  6. Ability to set up, adjust, and operate Hydromat machines for milling, drilling, reaming, and tapping operations.
  7. Inspect work in progress and measure finished parts to ensure they meet specifications using various measuring tools.
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with good documentation practices.
  9. Must pass a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
  10. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or possess a Green Card work permit.
