HTC Global Services is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Gear Machining / Powertrain, onsite in Dearborn, MI. The role focuses on launching gear machining processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

You will collaborate with launch teams and suppliers to establish capable processes and support ramp‑ups. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in machining, PPAP experience, and strong Lean/ SPC skills, with leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in machining, gear machining or related process engineering.
• Experience with PPAP and manufacturing launch documentation.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, SPC and quality tools.
• Proven leadership, interpersonal and collaborative skills in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Support manufacturing process engineering activities for gear machining operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Complete PPAP quality launch documentation.
• Develop action plans and verify corrective actions across internal and supplier processes.
• Lead process audits and ensure adherence to guidelines.
• Create process documentation and work instruction sheets.
