Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Gear Machining Tooling Engineer to join the launch tooling team. You will work with headquarters and suppliers to enable new manufacturing lines, develop tooling, and improve processes to achieve key performance metrics for long‑term success.

You will support machining processes, tool development, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with standards and delivering robust tooling for gear machining operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC machining manufacturing.
• Experience with tooling and CNC processes.
• Experience with gear machining and high‑production environments.

Responsibilities

• Support machining processes with tool development.
• Implement tool tracking and controls for key features.
• Drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Complete PPAP quality launch documentation.
• Develop processes and instruction sheets for quality methods.
• Deliver capable processes and tools for gear machining operations.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
