Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking an entry-level Bid Coordinator for the Gear Department in Laurel, MD. This role ensures fast, accurate bid responses by coordinating inquiries and connecting customers with the right team members. You’ll manage documents and support transition from bids to orders.

Ideal candidates are organized, curious, and ready to grow into quoting small jobs and supplier coordination. In-office schedule Mon–Fri, 7:00am–4:00pm, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Effective communication via phone, email, and in person.
• Detail-oriented, timely, and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer bid inquiries with the Gear team from intake to response.
• Connect customers with the right team members for timely quotations.
• Maintain organized bid documents across digital and print platforms.
• Support project management as bids turn into orders, including expediting and tracking.
• Assist with other tasks assigned by leadership as needed.
