GE Vernova is seeking a Gas Power Co-op/Intern to develop and apply engineering concepts through real-world projects in power generation. You will receive training and mentorship while contributing to design and analysis of product lines such as steam turbines, gas turbines, gas engines, and generators.
Eligible students have 1–2 semesters left, are pursuing an engineering degree, and must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.Engineering interns in Gas Power experience technically challenging assignments in the power generation industry focusing on areas such as of Systems, Analysis, Design, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test.
Perform design and analysis of product lines in areas such as steam turbine, gas turbines, gas engines and generators.
Responsibilities include: Develop and implement new design concepts and design improvements. You may work with the drafting team to create or update the drawings, and partner with the manufacturing team to solve problems that arise out of the complex manufacturing processes required to make these parts.
Must have one to two semesters left prior to graduation and be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline as listed below.

Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding). Must be highly self-motivated and be able to work under minimal supervision. An analytical approach to problem solving with a high degree of curiosity. Willingness and ability to learn from others. Willingness to make and learn from mistakes. Excellent organizational, written communication, and oral communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and team player. One who strives for academic excellence and shows great initiative. Desire to work in a fast paced and agile environment.
