Job summary

GE Vernova's Applied Grid Innovation team offers a Power System Intern position in Bellevue, WA, focusing on foundational models and AI-enabled grid solutions. You will contribute to research and prototyping that blends power systems expertise with advanced AI to transform utility operations and grid management.

You will design benchmarks, create data for model validation, and communicate results to stakeholders while gaining hands-on experience in AI for critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Power Systems or related discipline.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Familiarity with machine learning evaluation concepts.
• Experience analyzing data and generating insights.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.

• GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
