Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a GE Technician Lead to supervise and mentor GE technicians in the Brooksville service location. The role conducts hands-on leadership within the GE Center and acts as a clinical preceptor, ensuring high standards of patient care and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical Program PCT Training Program Or Technical Program MAT Training Program.
• Two (2) years recent GE tech experience.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership within the GE Center and act as a clinical preceptor for GE technicians.
• Serve as a key resource in the GE Center for GE technicians.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, adhere to dress code standards, and project a positive image.

The GE Technician Lead, under the general supervision of medical and nursing leadership, performs duties in line with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values. This role provides leadership within the specific service area, serves as a clinical preceptor for new GE technicians, and acts as a key resource in the GE Center. The technician maintains a professional demeanor, adheres to dress code standards, uses courteous communication, and projects a positive image and attitude.
