Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a GE Technician Lead at the TGH Brooksville location. Under supervision, you will provide leadership within the GE Center, act as a clinical preceptor for new GE technicians, and support workflow in the service area.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a technical training program, and at least two years of GE technician experience, with BLS certification expected. This is an on-site, full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule.

The GE Technician Lead, under the general supervision of medical and nursing leadership, performs duties in line with Tampa General Hospital’s mission, vision, and values. This role provides leadership within the specific service area, serves as a clinical preceptor for new GE technicians, and acts as a key resource in the GE Center. The technician maintains a professional demeanor, adheres to dress code standards, uses courteous communication, and projects a positive image and attitude.

Qualifications
