Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Google Cloud Platform SRE Manager to lead the SRE team, overseeing infrastructure, reliability, observability, and security. You will drive IaC and pipelines, coordinate across Incident, Security, Application and SRE teams, and ensure continuous improvement of platform health.

The role includes 24x7 GCP support, on-call rotations, and collaboration with onshore and offshore developers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SRE experience with GCP, AWS and/or Azure.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing automated solutions using IaC (Terraform or OpenTofu).
• Minimum 3 years managing onshore or offshore teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage GCP’s SRE team, discipline, maintain service levels and costs.
• Develop monitoring, observability, and security capabilities via IaC.
• Coordinate on-call rotations and provide 24x7 GCP support.
• Collaborate with Incident, Cybersecurity, Application and SRE teams to troubleshoot and implement improvements.
• Lead training sessions and game days to foster learning and continuous improvement.
