Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a Cloud/DevOps Engineer to administer cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and drive automation through IaC and CI/CD pipelines. You will manage Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, and VPC networking, while enforcing security and cost-efficiency.

The role focuses on provisioning resources, monitoring performance, and supporting multi-tenant architectures with robust IAM controls. Strong scripting in Python/Bash is valued for automation tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, and VPC networking.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform) for resource provisioning.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE).
• Knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM roles, and access control models.
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including compute, storage, networking, and IAM
• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud resources using infrastructure-as-code and automation tools
• Monitor system performance, availability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity management, access controls, and compliance standards
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes with tools like GitHub Actions
• Design and support multi-tenant architectures, including data isolation strategies and tenant-aware resource management
