Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Google Cloud Platform Engineer to build and operate secure, scalable GCP environments for federal agencies. You will design infrastructure as code, automate deployments, and support reliable platform capabilities across projects.

As you gain experience, you may mentor engineers, shape reliability strategy, and influence cloud architecture and security practices in collaboration with product teams, security, and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in GCP cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep).
• CI/CD, Git workflows, scripting, and modern software delivery.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and container platform experience.
• Understanding of cloud networking, identity/access, observability, security, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate, and operate cloud infrastructure across GCP.
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, resilience, and backup.
• Apply DevSecOps, identity/access, secrets management, and security controls.
• Automate repetitive operations and support incident root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product engineers, security teams, enterprise architects, and clients.
• Lead complex platform initiatives and establish reusable patterns.
