Job summary

Motion Recruitment in Iselin, New Jersey is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to help secure cloud platforms, automate delivery pipelines, and support enterprise infrastructure. Location: Iselin, NJ. Contract Duration: 12+ months.

The role involves working across development, security, and operations to deploy safely, consistently, and at scale using GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and CI/CD tools. Collaboration and strong documentation are essential.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
Experience managing Google Kubernetes Engine environments and Kubernetes workloads.
Background building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Maintain secure cloud environments running on GCP.
Administer and scale GKE and Kubernetes infrastructure.
Support Docker Swarm-based container environments.
Manage Linux servers across development and production systems.
Design and improve automated build and deployment workflows, provision infrastructure using Terraform and configuration automation.
Create Python scripts to automate operational tasks and system processes.
Develop and support REST API integrations.
Work closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams.
Monitor cloud services and investigate performance, availability, and security issues.
Support PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch platforms.
Improve deployment reliability, infrastructure consistency, and system resiliency.
Maintain architecture documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards.
