Job description

A large financial services organization in Minneapolis, Minnesota is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to support secure cloud infrastructure, application delivery, and automation across enterprise environments. This role will focus on strengthening development and deployment processes by combining cloud engineering, automation, security, and infrastructure operations. You'll help manage containerized platforms, improve CI/CD workflows, automate infrastructure changes, and support secure application releases. The role will also work closely with engineering, security, QA, and operations teams to improve reliability, reduce risk, and ensure systems are deployed in a consistent and secure manner.

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Contract Duration: 12+ months

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform
• Strong experience with Google Kubernetes Engine
• Background supporting Kubernetes and containerized applications
• Experience with Docker Swarm
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, access controls, and secure deployment practices
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience using Terraform and Ansible
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code
• Python scripting and automation experience
• Experience integrating systems through REST APIs
• Familiarity with OpenShift and OpenShift Container Storage
