Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Engineer for our Google COE to design and modernize enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will deliver end-to-end data solutions, leveraging BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, and other GCP services to enable real-time and batch analytics.

You will collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams, migrate data estates, and accelerate AI-ready data foundations. You will participate in design sessions, contribute to backlog items, and work in a hybrid setting requiring

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud and modern data engineering.
• Delivery through hands-on delivery and collaboration.
• Ability to build scalable, cloud-native data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms on GCP.
• Deliver solutions using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Looker.
• Migrate and modernize data estates; enable governed analytics; accelerate AI-ready data foundations.
• Participate in design sessions and complete backlog items on time.
• Work in a hybrid environment, with in-person collaboration as needed.
