Job summary

You will design and build enterprise-scale data solutions on Google Cloud, focusing on metadata-driven automation and governance. Work is hybrid with in-office days required in Charlotte, NC, Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, or Hartford, CT. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM, and orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering, automation, APIs, and scalable processing.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, or data services.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices including source control, testing, CI/CD, and modular design.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, production-ready data pipelines and orchestration workflows on GCP.
• Develop integrations between data platforms and governance systems for metadata discovery and lineage.
• Design and deploy secure, reliable, observable cloud-based data solutions.
• Embed governance controls into engineering workflows via metadata capture and lineage propagation.
• Contribute to intelligent automation solutions leveraging governed metadata and business context.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver reusable, high-quality engineering solutions in line with enterprise standards.
