Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Google Cloud Native Architect to design, architect, and deliver scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role emphasizes cloud architecture, microservices, containerization, Kubernetes, APIs, DevOps, and application modernization in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of cloud-native architecture and 3+ years on GCP, with deep experience in Spring Boot, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud-native architecture and development.
• 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven proficiency with Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using GCP services.
• Architect applications with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Define security, compliance, and governance standards for enterprise cloud platforms.
• Establish cloud architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Design and develop REST APIs and manage the API lifecycle.
• Build microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Dataflow.
• Implement integration patterns including Event-Driven Architectures and SOA.
• Develop and optimize application code with testing and debugging best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Maven/Gradle, and JIRA.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices.
