Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of Google Cloud Platform architecture/consulting.
• Deep knowledge of GCP services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run; BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL; VPC, IAM, Load Balancing, KMS.
• Strong Kubernetes, containers, and microservices experience.
• Proficient in Terraform for IaC.
• Experience leading client workshops to assess current-state architecture and define future-state GCP solutions.
• Ability to translate business objectives into cloud-native and hybrid GCP architectures.
• Provide architectural governance and ensure adherence to CGI and client standards.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end GCP architectures covering compute, data, networking, security, and DevOps.
• Define cloud migration and modernization approaches (re-host, re-platform, re-architect).
• Architect solutions using GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, and related services.
• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements (security, performance, resilience, cost).
• Review designs, code, and infrastructure for quality and best practices.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
