Job summary

Innodata is seeking a hands-on Application Support Engineer to maintain enterprise apps on Google App Engine and microservices. You will triage incidents, restore services, and deliver safe feature enhancements across test, pre-production, and production environments.

The role emphasizes rapid incident response, deep troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold SLAs and improve system reliability. Strong GCP, scripting, and CI/CD skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Application Support, Application Engineering, Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related role.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google App Engine deployments.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Node.js/JavaScript, or Go.
• Experience with deployments across multiple environments, including release validation and rollback.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and maintenance for enterprise apps hosted on Google App Engine, including environments and scaling.
• Triage, diagnose, restore service, and drive issues to closure within SLAs/SLOs.
• Design, develop, and deliver feature enhancements and improvements to existing apps.
• Own build, release, and deployment activities across environments with validation and rollback plans.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, dashboards, and error reporting.
