Innodata Inc. seeks a hands-on GCP / Data Platform Engineer to support large-scale production data platforms on Google Cloud. You will focus on reliability, production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization rather than greenfield development.

The ideal candidate quickly understands complex environments, diagnoses issues across pipelines and infrastructure, and implements practical improvements with minimal disruption. Experience in enterprise-grade data platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production workloads.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain production GCP data platforms and pipelines.
• Troubleshoot DAG failures, data latency and scheduling issues in Airflow.
• Optimize Airflow DAGs for reliability, performance and recoverability.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, data latency and infra issues.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI/Analytics, App Engineering, Infra, and Platform teams.
• Create and maintain runbooks, docs, and platform support procedures.
