Job summary

Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater West, LLC in Pomona, CA is seeking a Scientist I in the GCMS department to join our team. The role includes routine sample prep and analysis of water samples, data entry, and instrument maintenance. You will work with EPA and Standard Methods procedures to ensure accurate results.

The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with potential late shifts and weekends. A BS in chemistry and 1–2 years of lab experience are required, with GC or GCMS ChemStation

Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in chemistry or related field and 1–2 years of lab experience.
• 1–2 years GC or GCMS ChemStation experience preferred.
• Must be available to work overtime including weekends.
• Excellent math, computer, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Routine sample preparation and analysis of water samples using EPA/Standard Methods.
• Data processing, entry and written documentation.
• Routine instrument maintenance and reagent preparation.
• General lab duties and possible weekend shifts.
