Job summary

Fulton County in Georgia is seeking a qualified records clerk for the Police Department to handle jail intake, inmate records, and GCIC/NCIC data entry. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of clerical or customer service experience.

You will work with law enforcement systems, prepare court calendars, and provide frontline customer service by phone, email, or in person. Certification within 90 days is required along with typing tests; accurate data entry at 40 wpm

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of clerical or customer service experience.
• GCIC Certification, CJIS Network Operator Training, and Security and Awareness Training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Process jail bookings and fingerprinting for inmates.
• Enter warrants and dispositions into GCIC/NCIC and Odyssey.
• Prepare the court calendar for inmates and transport schedules.
• Respond to GCIC/NCIC hits and disseminate sensitive information to authorized agencies.
• Provide customer service in person, by phone, by email, or by mail.
