Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries seeks a Fleet Training Operations Analyst to ensure the accuracy and reliability of GCCS‑M, GCCS‑J, and COP during Fleet Synthetic Training and Live, Virtual, Constructive exercises.

The role requires managing track databases, maintaining COP channels, and supporting CSG/ESG deployments with synchronized data and rapid cutover readiness, per CONOPS and guidance. Active Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Candidate must have extensive experience operating the Global Command and Control System.
• Candidate must have working knowledge of shipboard systems to include SSDS, AEGIS, IFF, Link 16, and NAVSIM.
• Candidate must have great communication skills and professionalism as the position requires interacting with military leadership.
• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical support for GCCS-M, GCCS-J, and the COP during highly dynamic FST and LVC training events.
• Control the daily operation of COP communication channels, MAKO chat, track databases, and COP displays.
• Operate in accordance with COP CONOPS, OPTASK COP messages, and CFMCC guidance.
• Monitor track database performance and adjust threshold settings across TMS Master/ Gateway and Radiant Mercury Gateway.
• Ensure alternate track databases remain synchronized and prepared for rapid cutover on primary server shift.
• Monitor track data feeds from subordinate units to ensure latency criteria and correct symbol usage.
• Support fleet deployment prep by providing on-site training and technical assistance to CSG/ESG assets.
• Prepare GCCS architectural drawings for IPC/MPC/FPC planning conferences.
• Track all system trouble reports through to resolution.
