ALS Limited is seeking a GC-MS / GC-MS/MS Analyst to join our production laboratory team in Washington. You will perform analyses, operate GC-MS instruments, and ensure data quality under established procedures.

Ideal candidates have a chemistry/environmental science background, with 1–3 years’ lab experience and familiarity with EPA methods. This role offers growth opportunities in a regulated lab setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation beneficial.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate GC-MS and GC-MS/MS systems according to SOPs and work instructions.
• Maintain instrument logs, maintenance records, and analytical documentation.
• Perform analyses using EPA 8270, EPA 625 and other GC-MS methods.
• Prepare and analyze calibration standards, QC samples, and client samples.
• Review data for completeness and compliance with quality requirements.
