Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Grenada, MS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, repair components, and install/test fixtures per work orders.

You will read mechanical drawings, troubleshoot PLCs, and work with a team to keep presses, pumps, and related machinery running. Some electrical knowledge and math skills are required.

Qualifications

• AAS in related field is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance.
• Proficient in mathematics.
• Very good mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of PLCs and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Fin Press operation a plus.
• Basic Industrial Electrical knowledge.
• Minimal travel involved, but may be required.

Position Description

Perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) on all equipment according to instructions provided with work order (MTO) and directions from group leader. Repair equipment by cleaning, replacing defective parts, motors, etc. per work order. Installs, test and maintains mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic tools, and electrical equipment and fixtures per work order. Performs repairs on equipment such as pumps, punch presses, press brakes, fin presses, turret presses, rivet guns, etc.
