Job summary

Timken in Keene, NH seeks a qualified Inspector/Quality technician for 2nd shift to support product and customers by setting up, maintaining, calibrating and troubleshooting gages. You will review drawings, instruct staff on measurement equipment, and maintain inspection records.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required.
Strong ability to read and interpret specifications, acceptance criteria, and engineering drawings.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with good training and mentoring skills.
PPE/safety protocols must be followed.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret drawings, process sheets/routings, operating instructions, and specifications.
Assist and instruct associates in proper use of gages, measuring and testing equipment.
Maintain accurate daily inspection records.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment.
Perform testing/inspections using various test instruments per plans to verify conformance.
Process related documents as required and specified.
Train others in safety, quality, inspection, and testing as needed.
