Job summary

Timken seeks a skilled gauge service technician to calibrate and maintain gauges for manufacturing processes in Lebanon, NH. You will perform setups, adjustments, and changeovers, ensuring accuracy and conformity to specifications while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math and mechanical skills, and familiarity with blueprints and GD&T. The team emphasizes training, record-keeping, and safe, efficient operation in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of blueprints, drawings, schematics; GD&T preferred.
• Basic mathematical and mechanical skills.
• Basic computer interface skills required.
• PPE and safety protocol adherence.

Responsibilities

• Perform gauge service operations, including simple setups and adjustments.
• Work from part drawings, setup charts and specifications for gauging setups.
• Make changeovers of gauge components and ensure proper clearance.
• Check setups against masters for tolerance, squareness, concentricity and roundness.
• Assist in issuing gauges to machine operators and maintain records.
• Inspect own work and report discrepancies to supervisor; assist training as required.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow safety procedures.
