Job summary

DHL Express seeks a Gateway Quality Assurance & Training Specialist to support QA, compliance, and performance objectives across import and export activities. The role includes audits, coaching, and targeted training to improve operator effectiveness and regulatory adherence.

Work closely with operations leaders to identify knowledge gaps, define training priorities, and measure training outcomes. The role contributes to operational excellence through process improvements and system deployments.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or industry related field preferred.
• Analytical mindset with ability to audit and improve processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of DHL systems preferred.
• Ability to conduct training and coaching to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance quality and regulatory compliance.
• Set quality objectives and provide ongoing feedback.

TheGateway Quality Assurance & Training Specialist is responsible forsupporting the quality, compliance, and performanceobjectivesof Gateway operations through the administration and delivery of quality assurance and training programs for import and export activities. This role evaluates operational performance, conducts audits and analyses, interactions,identifiescompliance and knowledge gaps, and provides targeted coaching and training to improve employee effectiveness and regulatory adherence.

Working closely with operations leaders, supervisors, and cross-functional stakeholders, this role delivers training programs, monitors competency and quality standards, and measures training effectiveness to ensure employees have the skills and knowledgerequiredto perform their roles accurately and compliantly.

The role contributes to operational excellence byidentifyingopportunities for process improvement, supporting the implementation of new initiatives and systems.

Anticipated Annual Salary Range: $75,825-$101,100

Key Accountabilities:

• Evaluate performance quality and compliance
• Set qualityobjectives, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback
• Partner with leaders and department supervisors managers to assess skill gaps and define training priorities
• Work closely with team managers and supervisors to conduct post-training evaluations and coaching to gauge training effectiveness andidentifystrengths for reinforcement and weaknesses for further training
• Schedule, deliver andfacilitateindividual or group training and development programs in support of the business goals andobjectives
• Reinforce mandated training programs , awareness training, and specific departmental training classes/programs
• Participate on cross-functional teams to improve Learning and Development systems and processes
• Consult with managers and leaders in the business to understand business problems and opportunities to enhance eLearning and deployment or other learning technology solutions
• Participate and contribute in cross-departmental collaborations toidentifyareas for service improvement covering processes or controls and recommend specific clearance improvement actions
• Assistin the implementation of new initiatives or system releases
• Manage GatewayException Handling operations including but not limited toconducting warehouse and ramp searches and Hypercare of key accounts.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational requirements and business objectives

Skills/Qualifications:

• 3 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or industry related field preferred
• Analytical mindset
• Strong communication (oral and written) skills
• Working knowledge of DHL systems preferred
