Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a gated community in Laguna Niguel, CA. You will manage access points, verify resident and visitor credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service.

The role is Full Time with a Swing Shift, paying $19.00 per hour. You will perform entry control duties, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents with professionalism using tablet-based systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with access-control procedures and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet to maintain records.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Proof of age 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors during access-control activities.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document actions for reporting.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, parking, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Communicate professionally with residents, staff, and emergency responders to maintain a welcoming environment.
