Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a gated community in Irvine, CA. You will manage entry points, verify authorized access, and deliver excellent customer service to residents and visitors. This is a full-time role with mixed shifts, paying $22.00 per hour.

You will monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and help maintain a secure, welcoming environment while following community procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by policy.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor records.
• Respond to access-related incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of community areas and entrances.
• Report hazards, security concerns, and maintenance issues in reports.
