Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Security Systems Technician to perform service and installation for commercial sites across multiple states. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, clean driving record, and the ability to explain technical details to customers.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in security systems, familiarity with CCTV and access control, and are comfortable with ladder work and conduit installation. OSHA 10 is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience as a Security Systems Technician.
• OSHA 10 training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service and installation of CCTV surveillance, access control, burglar alarm, and gate systems.
• Follow safety procedures and assemble conduit and cable runs.
• Explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Work on ladders or lifts and operate as part of a team or independently.
• Keep knowledge up to date on product lines and offerings.
