Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a skilled Security Systems Technician to service and install CCTV, access control, and alarm systems across multiple sites. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, plus ability to work on ladders and lifts and communicate technical details to customers.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of security systems experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn. Welding experience is a plus, and OSHA 10 training is preferred for enhanced safety

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience as a Security Systems Technician.
• Previous low voltage installation experience.
• OSHA 10 training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service and install CCTV Surveillance Systems and Access Control Systems.
• Work on ladders and lifts as needed.
• Explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Install conduit and run cable/wire.
• Maintain knowledge of our product and service lines.
• Represent the company with effective interpersonal skills.
• Be organized, self-driven, and customer service focused.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose security systems.
