Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• State Security Officer License is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
• Technical training or college education in related field is preferred.
• Previous security officer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend gate and provide access control for customers at the back lot.
• Check accuracy of orders picked up by customers leaving the facility.
• Thoroughly examine vehicles entering the premises and note items.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
• End of shift, walk the yard and report suspicious activities or criminal acts.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
