Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for Theme Park Gate Screening & Guest Entry. You will provide exceptional guest service while working outdoors at park entrances, conduct screenings with wands and X-ray devices, and assist with bags and access control to ensure guest safety and enjoyment.

Starting pay is $18.00/hr with both part-time and full-time opportunities. Paid training and uniforms are provided, plus guard card assistance, supporting career development in a security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test; additional screening may be required if driving.
• Ability to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Direct entry into venues, scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, manage entry flow.
• Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Demonstrate understanding of venue policies and regulations.
• Provide a positive guest experience at facility entrances and concourses.
• Offer directions and suggestions to enhance guests' entertainment experience.
