Job summary

Third Coast in Pearland, TX is seeking a Gate Operations Guard to manage gate ingress and egress, inspect trucks, and support daily plant operations. The role requires basic safety knowledge, the ability to read MSDS, COAs and BOLs, and familiarity with MS Office.

Prior experience is preferred and the position involves coordinating with multiple departments to maintain smooth production flow. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to follow plant safety rules, and willing to receive

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED desired but not required.
• Two years of experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret MSDS, COA’s and BOL’s.
• Knowledge of our quality policy and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Control the Ingress and Egress of traffic at gates.
• Use Weigh Tronix WI127 to scale in trucks.
• Review Bulk/Production Schedule and print paperwork.
• Check in/out trucks and visitors using internal system.
• Stage trucks/visitors in designated parking area and wait to be called.
• Perform truck inspections for all arriving trucks and pull samples if required.
• Open gates during emergencies.
• Scan inbound and finished paperwork.
• Receive Empty Drums/Totes trailers.
• Inspect trucks upon exit and verify paperwork with CSR.
