Job summary

Third Coast is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Pearland, TX to lead production and shipping teams, drive safety, and meet customer commitments. You will oversee shift activity, schedule planning, and resource allocation while coaching staff to improve performance and maintain quality and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in production/packaging/logistics, leadership experience, and knowledge of hazardous materials. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years Production, Packaging, Logistics, or Petrochemical experience.
• Experience in leadership, supervising and/or management.
• Knowledge of and experience working with hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Direct job assignments and provide hands-on leadership to production and shipping staff.
• Ensure safety practices and compliance with company policies.
• Plan production and shipping schedules and allocate resources to minimize downtime.
• Train and coach employees; conduct performance appraisals.
• Review production records and timesheets; control costs through manpower management.
• Maintain inventory and storage of supplies; ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Communicate shift activity and operational changes to staff.
