Job summary

HRforGrowth is seeking an Access Guard-LTL Cross Dock in New Jersey to serve as the primary point of control for inbound and outbound traffic at a high-volume cross-dock campus. The role partners with site leadership to mitigate risks, ensure security, and support uninterrupted logistics operations.

The candidate will manage gate access, verify credentials, support dispatch, and maintain accurate electronic records while handling customer and driver relations and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in logistics, security operations, or related fields.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and payroll systems.
• Ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor all vehicle, visitor, contractor, and employee access to the facility.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound traffic to prevent congestion and delays.
• Maintain records of gate transactions and driver/documentation.
• Support transportation coordination and dispatch leadership with real-time updates.
• Investigate incidents and report security or safety concerns.
