Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a Gate Attendant for an overnight, part-time role at Water Oak Country Club in Lady Lake, FL. You will greet visitors and residents, collect information, and direct guests to proper destinations while maintaining security and courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Greets all visitors, vendors, contractors, residents and prospective buyers and directs them to destinations.
• Obtains name, license plate, phone and email from non-residents/guests; forwards info to sales if needed.
• Notes unusual occurrences on daily logs and reports issues to maintenance as needed.
• Distributes promotional materials to prospective guests and residents.
• Answers calls courteously and records pre-call visitor information for follow-up.
• Submits maintenance requests for electrical, sewer or water issues as needed.
• Greets and registers late arriving guests when applicable.
• Monitors the community, checks buildings, turns off lights, locks doors/gates and notes deficiencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Gate Attendants greet all visitors, vendors, contractors, residents, and prospective buyers and directs them to their destinations. They obtain pertinent information from each non-resident/guest entering the community, and hands-out promotional materials to prospective guests and residents.

Job Duties

• Greets all visitors, vendors, contractors, residents, and prospective buyers, directing them to their destinations (Essential)
• Obtains name, license plate numbers, phone number, and email address of each non-resident/guest entering the community. Forwards information obtained to the sales office for follow-up within 24 hours (if applicable) (Essential)
• Notes all unusual occurrences on the daily log sheets (Essential)
• Hands-out promotional material to prospective guests and residents
• Answers the telephone courteously and records pre-call visitor information appropriately. Prepares pre-call sheets for the following day
• Submits maintenance requests for issues such as electrical, sewer and water break problems as needed
• Greets and registers late arriving guests, if applicable
• Checks buildings, turns-off lights, locks doors and gates as directed. Monitors the community, noting any deficiencies (i.e. broken lights, missing signs, etc.). Checks homes for unusual situations requiring attention (i.e. open doors, running water, etc)
• Other duties as assigned
