O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT seeks a Gate Attendant to join our team at our Danbury Mason Store. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast.

Responsibilities:

• Checks in new material, transfers, and returns if yard personnel is not available
• Collects, files, and delivers all blue tickets to management on a daily basis
• Inspects departing customers, personnel, and O&G delivery vehicles to guard against inventory discrepancies & theft
• Executes cycle counts as instructed by management
• Records data as instructed for circumstances such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of machinery or equipment
• Reacts to change productively and completes any other tasks as assigned
• Perform other similar duties as required by responsibility or necessity or as requested by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Has the ability to resolve complaints and problems as they arise from customers
• Has acquired and applies knowledge of yard processes, materials, procedures, machinery, and technology
• Able to move or transfer merchandise throughout the store and yard generally weighing in excess of 25 pounds
• Able to work in inclement conditions
