Valley Gates Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking Construction Laborer / Apprentice to join our team in Las Vegas.

This hands-on, physically demanding role offers learning opportunities in gate and access-control installation and maintenance, with courtship to develop skilled trade abilities. Responsibilities include assisting with installation and repair, general construction tasks, and following directions from senior crew.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean Driver History Report.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
• Own basic hand tools and steel-toe work boots.
• Be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and experienced crew with gate installation, repair, and related construction work.
• Perform general construction labor, including heavy lifting, digging, trenching, concrete work and physical labor.
• Follow instructions from technicians, foremen, and senior crew members.
• Learn proper construction techniques, safety procedures, and trade skills.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and properly.
• Assist with basic automotive, equipment, and shop maintenance.
• Work outdoors year-round in Las Vegas heat, cold, and varying weather conditions.
