Job summary

Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth is seeking a Gastrointestinal Procedure Nurse to deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care in the procedure setting and in post-procedure care. You will collaborate with the gastroenterology team and families, ensuring evidence-based practice and strong customer relations.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience, Texas RN licensure, current BLS, and PALS or NRP certification, with GI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• GI experience preferred.
• Current BLS.
• PALS or NRP certification required.
• Certification as necessary in certain areas in the Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent and skilled individualized nursing care to patients in the procedure room and in skilled nursing care.
• Serve as liaison between the Gastroenterologist and other members of the medical team.
